1. Application fields

The malleable iron pipe fittings produced by our company (referred to as Malleable steel pipe fittings), with nominal sizes (DN) 6-150, are connecting pipe fittings for general pipelines used to transport water, oil, air, gas and steam.

2. Applicable environmental conditions

Transport medium temperature: -20℃ to 120℃,

In a dry environment, no acid-base environment, no high temperature and high humidity environment, etc., the service life can reach 50 years.

The nominal pressure used is based on the national standard and the maximum allowable working standard is 2.5Mpa.

Water medium pH: PH6-PH8.

3. Installation, transportation and storage

During installation, handle it with care. It is strictly forbidden to collide with other goods. It is strictly forbidden to damage pipe fittings due to improper operation.

During transportation, it is advisable to use nylon straps to tie and secure the goods, and the goods should be covered to avoid rain and damage.

It is forbidden to drag on the ground when loading, unloading and transporting, as friction may cause surface damage to the outer packaging and pipe fittings.

When the product is stored, the pipe fittings must not come into contact with any corrosive chemicals (such as strong acid, strong alkali, etc.). They should be placed 20cm above the ground in a well-ventilated, dry room, and must not be stored in the same room with corrosive items.

4. Things to note:

● When the pipeline works under specified working conditions, there is no unexpected pressure, and the pipe medium temperature is below 5°C, the pipeline needs to be protected to prevent frost cracking.

Pipe fittings should not be connected to stainless steel products to prevent the pipe fittings from rusting through.

● When used in special environments (such as extreme low temperatures, extreme high temperatures, high pressures, and areas with high acid and alkali corrosion, etc.), it is necessary to communicate and confirm with our sales department in advance.

● When used in underground engineering, after passing the pressure test, the outside of the pipe fittings should be treated with anti-corrosion, anti-rust, moisture-proof, anti-freeze and other protective treatments. Otherwise, if the protective sealing or insulation is not good, the pipe fittings will rust, corrode, freeze and crack, etc.

● When installing pipe fittings, supports and hangers must be installed in accordance with international, national or industry standards, and protective measures such as anti-demand, anti-corrosion, anti-static and heat insulation must be taken.

● Pipe connectors only serve to connect one pipeline. The smaller the diameter of the pipe, the more fixed points there are. The fixed points should be close to the pipe fittings, so as not to cause problems due to shaking.

● After the installation is completed, the pressure test should be qualified before normal use.
