The union is a kind of pipe fitting equipment, and its design method is to connect two pipes without any deformation of the pipe. Any small diameter pipe connection requires a positive seal and easy assembly and disassembly of help, fitting. The union can be readily disassembled in two tubes. They have a wide range of needs in the pipe market. Would like to see how our high accuracy union is made? You can follow our YouTuBe channel or Facebook. You will find the answer.
Malleable iron is malleable cast iron, which has some toughness, but it cannot be used for forging.
Malleable steel pipe fittings and malleable cast iron pipe fittings are named by the material of pipe fittings.
And galvanized pipe fittings are named in accordance with the surface treatment of pipe fittings (it can also be said that it is used for the connection of galvanized pipe).
The malleable steel pipe fittings are made of iron, so when they are exposed to the air, it is easy to rust.
In particular, our malleable steel pipe fittings are mainly used in fire fighting and water supply engineering. The pipes are more prone to rust when exposed to a wet environment for a long time.
Therefore, the surface of malleable steel pipe fittings should be treated with antirust treatment.
The surface antirust treatment of malleable steel pipe fittings is generally divided into hot-dip galvanizing and cold dip galvanizing.
Hot dip galvanizing refers to the galvanized treatment method that covers the surface of pipe fittings with a layer of zinc by immersing the pipe fittings in 700-800 degree high-temperature molten zinc liquid.
And cold galvanizing, also known as electric galvanizing, its principle is to rely on the electrophoresis phenomenon, the zinc hanging in the anode transfer attached to the surface of the pipe hanging in the cathode, and then form a thin and uniform zinc layer.
Hot dip galvanizing is relatively high compared with cold galvanized cost, but hot dip galvanizing because the galvanized layer is thick, and the zinc layer on the surface reacts with the iron matrix at high temperature, resulting in a transition layer between the zinc layer and the iron matrix, so the zinc layer and the pipe matrix is particularly reliable, not easy to fall off.
Although the cost of a cold galvanized layer is relatively low, the zinc layer is uniform and good-looking, but because the plating is only covered with a layer of zinc metal film on the surface of the pipe matrix, the galvanized layer is thin and easy to fall off.
In addition, a large amount of toxic waste liquid will be produced in the production process of electro galvanizing.
